FAQ's

Can I bring my pet?

No, please do not bring your pet to our farm. While we love all animals, our animals don't always feel the same way. We also have strict biosecurity protocols in place.

Our animals could scare or injure your pet, we would hate for that to happen, so please leave your fur baby at home.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing and enclosed footwear that you don't mind getting a little dirty. Our animals love to get up close and personal, so you will get a little dusty and fur covered.

Can I bring carrots to feed the donkeys?

You don't need to bring any food for the animals, we will provide all the treats for them. Please only feed them what we provide, outside food can make them sick.

Is Croftdown wheelchair friendly?

Our farm is a working rural property with uneven terrain, grass paddocks, and no paved pathways. Our sessions involve walking across the property and are best suited to guests who are able to walk independently. If you have specific accessibility or mobility needs, please contact us prior to booking so we can discuss suitability. We want every guest to have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Can I bring a carer or support worker?

Yes, carers and support workers are welcome at Croftdown. Please note that all attendees, including carers, are required to purchase a ticket. Carers can attend at the child rate of $15. Please advise us at the time of booking if you will be bringing a carer so we can ensure we have the right space and resources available.

What is your booking cut-off?

All bookings must be made by 8:00 PM the evening prior to your session. We are unable to accept same-day bookings.

Do you accept walk-ins?

No, we are a working farm and you will need a booking to meet our animals.

I missed out on getting a booking on my chosen weekend. Will you be opening more bookings soon?

Sorry, you missed out! We are hoping to open more bookings as the year progresses. We will announce this on our social media pages, so make sure you are following along!

What happens if it rains?

We don't like to disappoint, so bring your rain coat or an umbrella! If there is storm activity and it is not deemed safe, we will contact you to reschedule.
